Prishtina, 28th of April 2017

On date 27.04.2017, at about 20:10, police patrols from the Police Stations Klina and Skenderaj in cooperation have managed to stop the vehicle with local reg. plates, driven by a male. During the vehicle check there are found several packages with suspicious narcotic substance of marihuana type.

Investigators from the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics from Peja and Mitrovica came at the scene. Investigation of the scene, photographing and seizure of the evidences were performed. The suspect was arrested.

The narcotic substance was weighted and it came out to be 7 kg and 914g. related with the case, Prosecutor on duty at the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica was informed and by the decision issued by him, the suspect R.R. born on 1987, m/k/a,  is imposed detention measure of 48 hours.

The seized evidences are:

-One vehicle Golf IV local reg. plates,

-Suspicious narcotic substance weight 7912 gram.

-One cellphone.

In the ongoing investigation of this case, today on 28.04.2017, the Unit of DITN in Mitrovica, by the order from the pre-trial judge and in coordination with the case prosecutor, the house and premises of the suspect R.D in Mitrovica were searched, where another nylon bag with suspicious substance to be narcotics was found of a weight 404.5 gram. 

The total amount of narcotic substance found and seized is :8 kg e 318,5g.
