Prishtina, 7th June 2017

Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DHTNj) – Mitrovica, date 5th June 2017 at about 18:30, through operational-investigational ways, has collected information that in the village Aqarevë of Skenderajt, in the yard of two un-inhabited houses are two vehicles with Hungarian registration plates, suspected of being used to transport narcotics. 

From the scene, the police informs the competent prosecution and requested promotion for controlling the vehicles. By the order of the pretrial judge are searched the vehicles and uninhabited houses. 

In one vehicle, in the rear bumper are found 17 packages with suspected substance type marihuana. Near the vehicle are found 17 other packages. In the presence of two witnesses are also searched uninhabited houses, where it is also found an amount of narcotic substance, also some other evidences are found and confiscated. 

During the control of second vehicle, in three different parts of the vehicle that were modified for hiding narcotics are found 34 packages with suspicious narcotic substance type marihuana and one revolver with one magazine without bullets. 

The evidence seized in this operation are:

• Two vehicles Hungarian reg. plate, 

• Narcotic substance suspected to be marihuana weighting 136 kg,

• One electric machine that serves for packaging narcotic substance in vacuum,

• Empty bags, isolator for packaging narcotic substance,

• Two digital weights,

• One revolver, 

• One mobile phone,

• Twenty eight  (28) euro.

The police (DHTN-South Mirtovica) on 6th june 2017 at about 13:30 h managed to identify and arrest the suspect: A. G. dob 1989, male/Kosovar/Albanian. The suspect by the decision from the prosecutor is taken in detention for 48 hours.
