Prishtinë, 15 November 2018

Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking in Human Beings, concluded awareness raising activities, within the month against trafficking in human beings, with the activity held on 13 November 2018 in Prizren.

Similar meetings have been held in: Prishtina, Mitrovica, Zveçan, Gjakova, Ferizaj and Gjilan. The number of participants in all those meetings has been over 1100 pupils and students. Those activities have been conducted in cooperation with the American ICITAP, OSCE and municipalities.

The aim of those activities was to inform about the risks of trafficking in human beings and active participation of everyone in prevention and combating this phenomenon.

The message of those meetings was:

 Cooperate with Kosovo Police in prevention and combating trafficking in human beings.
