Kosovo Police is well aware that through various social media, from different people and profiles, there are circulating posts calling on Albanian citizens to participate in an alleged mass protest today at 12:00, in the South of Mitrovica and with the intention of marching towards the North of the country.

We would like to clarify that, after assessments by the security institutions, it has been found that many of these profiles are suspicious and that the posts may be malicious, against the interests of citizens and interests of the Republic of Kosovo.

Therefore, Kosovo Police invites citizens to remain calm and not to fall prey to any alleged organization coming from unknown persons, but to let the security institutions, the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo handle the situation professionally.

We guarantee the citizens that the institutions of Kosovo, in general, and the Kosovo Police in particular, are fully capable and committed to provide safety, peace and order for all citizens regardless.
