Kosovo
Police, respectively the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and
Corruption, supported by other relevant police units, after several-month
investigations, by the order of the competent court, today on 08.01.2016, in
early morning hours have conducted a police operation in the Prishtina region.

During this police operation, there are checked the
locations as following:

·        five (5) houses and one (1) apartment in Prishtinë,

·        one (1) house in Barileva village and

·        One (1) house in Lipjan.

Under grounded suspicion for committing the criminal
offence of usury and forcing, Kosovo Police has arrested the suspects with the
initials as following:

1)      B. A. (1979) 

2)      Rr. S. (1971)

3)      E. A.  (1981)

4)      A. N. ( 1983)

5)      I. M.  (1981)

6)      N. S   (1975) and

7)      B. A.  (1987)

During the
operation, there were seized about 10.000 Euro in cash, documents, various
notes about usuries, telephones and other relevant evidences for the case.
During this operation in various locations there were also found weapons and
ammunitions.

Upon
completion of the police operation, with the order of the competent prosecutor,
for the seven (7) suspects was imposed the detention measure of 48 hours, for
proceeding of further legal procedures.
