Prishtina, 23rd of November 2018

Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate of Serious Crimes Investigation led by the Special Prosecutor from the Special Prosecution of RKS, as well as supported by other police special units, today on 23.11.2018, after a several months of investigation and based on the court order, conducted searches at four locations in the city of Mitrovica-North.

In this operation four (4) persona are arrested, three (3) of them suspected for being involved in the criminal offense ,,Aggravated Murder”, and one (1) person arrested for resisting and hindering police officers during the search and arrest of the suspects for the above mentioned case.
 
Suspects already arrested are;

1.    N.S.  dob 1976, M/S/K, also police officer in North of Mitrovica.
2.    M.R. dob 1993, M/S/K;
3.    D.M. dob 1970, M/S/K, also police officer in North of Mitrovica.
4.    A.C.  dob 1965, M/S/K;

While the other person remains in search, since he was not present at his location, is;
5.    M.R. dob 1978 also M/S/K;

Kosovo Police during the search in these locations seized several relevant evidences related to the case and these evidences will be proceeded according to the legal procedures.

All further actions related to this case and arrested persons, will be undertaken in consults and coordination with the justice bodies, respectively competent prosecutor of the case.
