Kosovo Police in cooperation with the State Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo the authority of a state of EU, conducted a successful investigation operation in Prishtina and Ferizaj.

After e period of several months of investigation, one suspected person was arrested for the unauthorized hacking in a bank of a EU state. This action resulted in compromising the data of 300 bank cards and causing considerable harm.

During the operation and search there have been seized four computers, three mobile phones, one USB and important documents.

The close international cooperation and high professionalism of Kosovo Police were crucial in this operation.

By the decision of the Prosecutor, the arrested suspect was detained for 48 hours for further procedures. Additional investigation are ongoing in cooperation with other authorities in order to completely detect this case.

Kosovo Police remains committed in combating cyber-crimes and on advancing international cooperation and strengthening the public security.
