Kosovo Police, in order to rightly inform the public regarding the statement and the news published in portals, today on (15.07.2015), regarding the arrest of an activist of the movement “VETËVENDOSJE”, clarifies as following:
Kosovo Police, respectively the Regional Directorate in Prishtina with its police units, realized an order issued on 14 July 2015 by the Basic Court of Prishtina, regarding the arrest of the person (K. D.) who has been asked to be present in the legal proceeding at the court.

Kosovo Police is a professional institution in realization and completing duties conform the legal proceedings, including the realization of orders issued by the legal bodies.

So, we consider that the public opinion must be rightly and correctly informed, that Kosovo Police has implemented the order issued by the legal bodies, which is one of the duties determined by the law on Kosovo Police.
