As a result of combating the trafficking with human beings and prostitution, on 24.08 2016, the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Human Beings (DITHB), in this case the Unit for Investigation of Trafficking with Human Beings in Peja, have conducted a police operation in a business located in the Klina region, and this operation resulted in arresting of four suspects for inclusion in criminal offences regarding the prostitution. 

The suspects were arrested under grounded suspicion to having committed the criminal offence “Enabling or forcing in prostitution Article 241”, “Provision of facilities for prostitution Article 242” and “Dealing with prostitution 03/L-142 article 7”.

The arrested suspects are:

1. L. B.  (1991)  (M )A/Kosovar 

2. K. T.  (1985)  (M) A/Kosovar   

3. E. B.  (1998)   (F) A/Kosovar         

4. L. I.    (1986)  (F) A/Kosovar  

The suspects 1st and 2nd by the decision of the competent prosecutor were detained in custody for 48 hours until further proceedings, while the 3rd and 4th persons were released in regular procedure.
