Prishtinë, 16th of October 2015

First case:
At about 03:55, date 15.10.2015, Kosovo Police, respectively police units from the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DHTN), in cooperation with Border Police officers in border crossing point Merdare in exit of RKS, have conducted a successful police operation.
This operation was preceded by the four month investigation period, which resulted in stopping vehicle BMW X5 color black, under the ground suspicion of trafficking with narcotics and arrested one suspect.
In order to check the vehicle in detail it was sent at the police premises that enable such control.

During the detailed control, in the fuel tank, professionally hidden, there were found

•    (22) twenty two packages filled with narcotics type marihuana with overall weight of 18 kg and 711 g. “By the Order of competent Prosecutor, the house of the suspect was raid as well and
•    1.5 gr Marihuana was found.

The arrested person is:

–    S. I.  born on 22.08.1981, Al/Kosovar.

All the actions are performed on the supervision of Public Prosecutor and the suspect is imposed a police detention measure of 48 hours.

Second case
On 14.10.2015 at about midnight, the Police of Republic of Albania was chasing five suspects for trafficking with narcotics. Suspects achieved to pass through Green line in Gjakova Region in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. After a while, they returned back in which case they were arrested by the Albanian authprities. Immediately after the arrest, contact between both authorities was established, Albanian police and border police, Gjakova region. After exchanging information, yesterday on 15.10.2015 at about 11:00 in the green line area near the Border Point “Qafa e Prushit“, Border Police found five nylon bags with suspected substance narcotics type marihuana, from 45 packages of total weight of  49 kg 870.4 gr.  The case is proceeded in close cooperation between Kosovo Police, (Border Police and Forensics) and State Police of Republic of Albania.
While today, on 16.10.2015, two more suspects involved in this case are arrested.

Third case:
At about 18:00 evening of the same day, Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DHTNJ) conducted another operation in the street “Imzot Nikprela”, street Ulpiana in  Prishtina. During the operation are caught in action doing trade of narcotic type marihuana and are arrested three suspects. Three suspected locations are searched (apartments of suspects) and this material evidence is seized. 

The arrested in this case are:

•    P. N.    born on 29.09.1972, male, A/Kosovar, residence Prishtina
•    D. M.  born on 25.05.1977, female, A/Kosovar, residence Prishtina
•    M. H.  born on 03.11.1971, male, A/Kosovar, residence Junik
While, these material evidence are seized:
•    kg e (37) gr marihuana
•    (200) ml methadone
•    Lap top pc
•    (5) cell phones
•    (12) cannabis plant seeds

Fourth case:
Also, on 15.10.2015, at about 15:30, units from the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics conducted an operation in the village Dumnica e ulët, Vushtrria Municipality. During the operation a house and additional facilities of a suspect were searched in which case one person was arrested and evidence were seized as material evidence.
 
Arrested person in this case:
•    F. Rr.  Born on 27.03.1983, albanian/kosovar.
Seized evidence:
•    947.64 gr marihuana
•    Gas pistol, Browing one magazine with 5 rounds
•    1 pistol CZ with one magazine with 5 rounds, cal. 7.65 mm
•    1680 euro
All the actions are conducted by the coordination with competent Prosecutor and by his order, police detention measure of 48 hours is imposed to the suspects.
