Prishtinë, 26 April 2016

Today,
on 26 April 2016, General Director of Kosovo Police Mr. Shpend Maxhuni with its
senior staff, has hosted in a meeting a senior delegation from Germany, headed
by Mr. Johannes Schütze, who was accompanied by the future police staff, from
the north province, Rhine Westphalia.

Mr.
Shpend maxhuni initially thanked Mr. Schütze for the visit of the delegation
from Germany and at the same time during this meeting made a brief presentation
about the history, organization, activities and objectives of Kosovo Police.

In
addition, in this meeting the attendees were notified about the regional and
international police cooperation, illegal migration, combating of the organized
crime and terrorism.

Director
Maxhuni informed the delegation, that Kosovo Police has already proved for
being prepared to be part of all international police mechanisms, such as:
Interpol, Europol, etc., that would affect even more in prevention, combating
of criminality, in the country, region and wider, and this remains one of the
main objectives of KP.

Mr.
Johannes Schütze thanked Kosovo Police, especially Mr. Maxhuni for the host and
presentation of functioning, activities and work of Kosovo Police.

During
this meeting which was held in the environments of the General Directorate of
Police, Mr. Maxhuni and Mr. Schütze, were pledged for a mutual cooperation in
the future.
