In order to carry out development planning, strategic objectives as well as efficient police management, today the General Director of the Kosovo Police (KP) Mr. Shpend Maxhuni within his agenda held an official meeting with all the management staff of the Pristina Regional Directorate (DRP), including the regional director and all the police station commanders within this directorate.

During this meeting, by Director Maxhuni, the people present we informed about the engagements, activities as well as achieved results through implementation of strategic objectives of Kosovo Police, deriving from the Strategic Development Plan of Police, especially there were mentioned issues mainly belonging to the area of the Regional Directorate – Prishtina. 

Director Maxhuni, besides presentation of achievements which result with reducing the trend of crime, in front of police officers presented the challenges, problems and cases with which Kosovo Police faces, and in this case RPD- Prishtina, but at the same time stated that KP has professional capacities and is prepared to provide safety, combat organized crime as well as prevent criminal cases.

 In this meeting the General Director raised key issues related to the safety of the citizens, cooperation and meetings with the community, traffic safety, prevention of criminal offenses such as thefts, robberies, drugs etc. requiring more work and engagement in order to create a climate that is more safe and secure for citizens, which contributes in the general security of the country.

From the Management of the Regional Directorate of Prishtina was presented the work and engagement performed by the personnel of this region, in the benefit of the security of the citizens in their area of responsibility, where for all the concerns that citizens have in the security aspect, officers in this region handle them with priority, efficacy and high professionalism. 

During this meeting, it was inevitable talking about the difficulties that some stations from this directory are facing in the aspect of logistics, infrastructure, for the fact that some objects and working environments used by the police personnel do not meet the working requirements. 

The meeting resulted with the commitment for additional engagement toward fulfilling the police duties and responsibilities towards citizens of the country.
