On 10 March 2015 in Belgrade, the General Director of Kosovo Police met his counterpart, the Police Director of Serbia.
This meeting is part of the commitment of Kosovo Police on cooperation with all regional states as the only mutual opportunity to succeed in prevention and combating negative phenomenon and contemporary regional challenges, as well as to be in accordance with the policies of the European Union, part of which our country aims to be.
In this meeting there were discussed the possibilities for cooperation in various fields of prevention and combating the organized trans-border crime, border control, illegal migration, as well as other issues of interest for police organizations of both countries.
The meeting was assessed as a successful meeting also by partners of the European Union present in the meeting, taking into account that this was the first meeting of such level.
Kosovo Police cooperates with all police organizations of the regional states and we hope that yesterday’s meeting will contribute in beginning the cooperation with the police organization of Serbia.
