Kosovo Police in this case the Directorate of Investigations of Trafficking in Human Beings   (DHTQNJ), on 25 and 26 August 2021, conducted a police operation, which resulted with the arrest of three suspects, on the grounded suspicion for committing criminal offences “Trafficking in Human Beings” and “Sexual services of the trafficking victim”.

This police operation continued even today on 30.08.2021, in which case, the fourth suspect has been identified and arrested under the suspicion of having committed the same criminal offences.

Regarding this case there were identified two trafficking victims, who were provided protection and safe shelter and they are being treated based on the determined proceedings.

The suspects, with the decision of the competent prosecutors have been taken to custody.
