Police patrols from the Fast Intervention Unit Prizren and investigators of the Unit of the Directorate of investigation of trafficking in Narcotics Prizren, after midnight, dated 11.05.2022, stopped and searched a vehicle with national plates. There were three persons inside the vehicle: E.T., (born in 1997, male Kosovar), T.L., (born in 2002, male Kosovar) and V.S., (born in 199, male Kosovar). During the search of the vehicle, there were found two weapons and an amount of narcotics suspected to be marihuana.

The state prosecutor on duty was informed about the case and permission was requested from the pre-trial judge to inspect the premises. After receiving the order, the police searched a bar and an apartment in Prizren. During the search, another firearm and several bags of substances suspected to be narcotics were found.

Meanwhile two other suspects were stopped (at the facility and at the flat): L.H., (born in 1987, male Kosovar) and D.M., (born in 1998, male Kosovar).

The Police found and seized at the vehicle, facility and the apartment the following material evidences:

• Three fire weapons (pistols) with 13 rounds,

• Eight small bags of narcotics suspected to be marijuana with a weight of 8.87 gram,

• A bag with suspected narcotics – cocaine,

• An electronic scale, an aluminum foil for wrapping narcotics, a package of ‘’rizla’’paper.

Against the suspects are initiated criminal cases: ‘Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of psychotropic and analogous substances’ and ‘Unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons’. After the interview in the presence of the defence counsels, the five suspects by a decision of the prosecutor were taken into custody for up to 48 hours.
