Suharekë, 13 February

          At about 09:25 minutes, police in Suhareka has been informed that in the
School Yard of the Technical Secondary School “Skënder Luarasi”, there occurred
a fight between two pupils of the same class, and as a consequence one of the
pupils has been stabbed. The injured person initially has been taken to the
Hospital in Suhareka for treatment of the wound and then he has been
transferred to the Emergency of the Hospital in Prizren. Fortunately the wound
is underneath the heart and it poses no danger for the life, says the medical
report. In order to investigate the case there have gone the competent police
units and the suspect who escaped from the scene and hid the knife, has been
arrested. There have been informed the state prosecutor, school officials, the
representative of the Center of Social Affairs, attorney as well as the
parents. Because of the young age (under 16) the suspect has been released in
regular procedure.
