Today on 13.04.2024 in Bërnjak, the Kosovar male suspect (S. S. year of birth 1985), with residence in Zveçan of the Republic of Kosovo, was arrested.

The suspect arrested by the Kosovo Police, is suspected of several criminal offenses such as: ‘aggravated attempted murder’, ‘attack on an officer’, ‘unauthorized ownership, control or possession of a weapon’, ‘calls for resistance, participation in the crowd and hooliganism, destruction or damage to property’, etc., which he allegedly committed during 2021.

These suspected criminal acts are not peaceful protests as falsely claimed and reported.

All actions were carried out in cooperation and coordination with the competent prosecutor, and by the authorization of the prosecutor, the suspect was detained for 48 hours.

The police continues to enforce the law and provide protection and security to all citizens without distinction.
