Prishtinë, 26 September 2021

On 26.09.2021, at about 07:45, Kosovo Police officers from the Border Police Station -Vërmicë while moving with the vehicle towards Prizren-Vërmicë, near the underpass of the highway “Ibrahim Rugova” noticed a vehicle of the type Audi A5, black, national plates.

In that location, several persons were noticed coming down from the forest passing the fence of the highway and got on the vehicle. The vehicle went immediately towards Prishtina.

The police officers undertook immediate actions and managed to stop the vehicle at the highway, around 2 km from the Border Point Vërmicë.

The driver of the vehicle was identified, m/k L.N.(1987), and (6) passengers, foreign citizens, out of them two children.

Four of the foreign citizens had ID, passports with valid visas.

At the trunk of the vehicle, a foreign citizen was found hidden.

The state prosecutor in Prizren was informed, and authorized the initiation of the case, so the four passengers, foreign citizens were refused entry and were deported in Albania, while two other passengers were taken to the Asylum Center.

Against the suspect it is initiated the case on regular procedure for further investigations.
