Relevant units of the road traffic police, after conducting intensive investigations related to the case “traffic accident with fatality”, which occurred on 30.04.2015 at about 19:50, in the highway Pejë-Prishtinë, respectively in the Arllat village M.A Drenas, have managed to identify the suspect and the vehicle by which it is alleged to having been caused the accident.

As a result of the continuous work of police units, on 08.05.2015 at about 16:30, it was managed to identify the vehicle that has been involved in the traffic accident as well as the driver who is suspected to having caused the accident and then running away from the scene.

The vehicle alleged to be involved in the accident was of the Mercedes Sprinter mark, yellow color with local plates, and property of a company, which was driven by a person at the time of accident (N.A 1983) who is already arrested.

During the examination of the vehicle by the police officers, there were noticed some doubts of interfering/repairs in the damaged parts of the vehicle which were damaged at the time of accident.

All the police actions were conducted under the authorization of the competent prosecutor and by his order, there was imposed the police detention measure for the suspect.
