Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking, in two separate cases in Prizren and Gjilan, arrested 6 persons suspected of selling and buying narcotics.

Case 1.

On 05.06.2024 at about 22:40, the highway patrol in Prizren, in the direction of Vërmica, stopped two cars with local license plates in which the four suspects R. V. m/k (year of birth 2002), E. D. m/ k (year of birth 1997), P. S. m/k (year of birth 2002) and D. T. m/k (year of birth 2001).

During the search of the persons, various narcotic substances were found, in which case the suspected persons were arrested at the scene, while as material evidence from the DHTN the following were confiscated:

• narcotics suspected to be ecstasy, with a total weight of 3 kg and 367 grams;

• narcotics suspected to be cocaine with a total weight of 695.98 gr.,

• Narcotics suspected to be of the Crack type with a total weight of 367.93 gr.,

• narcotics LSD, 154 packages;

• Narcotics Cannabis Sativa in the form of chocolate, weighing 5.9 gr.,

• one hundred and thirty-eight (138) empty plastic bags,

• money in the amount of seven thousand seven hundred and eighty-eight (7788.85) euros,

• seven (7) mobile phones,

• two VW-Golf brand vehicles.

The market value of this narcotics is suspected to be over two hundred thousand (200,000) euros.

In consultation with the state prosecutor, a raid was carried out in several locations, while the state prosecutor issued a decision on the detention of the four suspects for 48 hours.

Case 2.

On 05.06.2024 at about 14:30, during the implementation of the ‘Circle’ plan by the Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking, in Gjilan, under the suspicion of buying and selling narcotics, the suspects A. S. m. /k and B. D. m/k were located and arrested who were in a car with local licence plates.

As material evidence, the following were confiscated from the suspects:

• Narcotics suspected to be heroin weighing 537.8 gr. worth about 8000 euros,

• narcotics suspected as marijuana with a total weight of 3.36 gr.,

• two mobile phones, as well as a vehicle.

Regarding the case, in coordination with the Basic Prosecutor’s Office, a raid was carried out in several locations, while by the decision of the prosecutor on duty, the suspects were taken into custody.
