Prishtinë, 1 November 2016

Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics, on 31st of October 2016, has undertaken a control operation in the village Lluzhan, Municipality of Podujeva. 

During controlling of vehicles, there was stopped a vehicle with local plates driven by a male K-Albanian.

After controlling the vehicle, there were found three luggages and two black nylon bags with 45 packaging filled with a substance alleged to be marijuana in an amount of 50 kg. 

A male citizen of Albania was then arrested, who is suspected to be involved in this case.

The above mentioned substance, four mobile phones and a vehicle of Audi type with local plates by which the transportation of marijuana was done have been seized.

The persons arrested in this case are:

• A. B.   born on 1975   m/a/k

• E. C.   born on 1967   m/a/k

By the decision of the competent prosecutor, for the suspects was imposed the detention measure of 48 hours.
