Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics, in the process of prevention, investigation and combating of smuggling with narcotics, on 26.09.2016, prepared and implemented an operational-tactical plan, which resulted with the arrest of a suspect and seizure of a considerable amount of narcotics. 

During the implementation of this plan, in a check point of vehicles by the Kosovo Police, a suspected vehicle with local plated attempted to avoid the police check. Police immediately undertaked the necessary operational actions and stopped the suspected vehicle at the entrance of Podujeva, where during the control, two big bags are found with the narcotics suspected to be marihuana in the amount of 35 kg. 

               For the case the prosecutor on duty has been informed and with his decision the suspect, male / K /Albanian: born on (1990) has been detained for 48 and against him it is initiated the case: ‘unauthorized purchase, possession, delivery of narcotics, psychotropic substance and analogue’ from the article 273 of the criminal code of RKS.
