Prishtinë, 11 November 2014 Public information regarding a disinformation published through [email protected] Kosovo Police in order to inform the public opinion fairly regarding the e-mail published on (11.11.2014) from the [email protected] address, which was addressed to some personalities of special importance and various mediums, clarifies that this information is untrue and informal. The informal information published through the email address is as following:“Today on 11.11.2014, by the order of the Kosovo Special Prosecution were raid the properties of the suspect publicist (the name was removed by KP) from Gjakova city. During the raid there was seized a pistol of 9x19mm caliber, zastava model M70 as well as one automatic long weapon of the type AK-47, manufactured in China with 7.62mm caliber, as well as 282 cartridges of various calibers. The suspect (initials have been removed by KP) with the order of Prosecutor has been released in a regular procedure”.Kosovo Police inform the wide opinion that no police operation has been conducted, regarding the published notice and the person in question, and regarding this publication the investigations have been initiated under grounded suspicion of abusing/forging the email [email protected], we consider that the public opinion must be fairly and correctly informed, that this publication is untrue and against the abusers the investigation procedures have been initiated by the relevant police units.
