Prishtinë, 1 April 2014Kosovo Police, under the leadership of a prosecutor of the Kosovo Special Prosecution are undertaking all the necessary measures in order to identify and clarify the case of ‘aggravated murder’ that has occurred in Pejë on 21.03.2014, where two citizens were killed and six other persons wounded.In the investigation process of this case, Kosovo Police have engaged all its police capacities, has increased the cooperation with other law enforcement institutions and citizens.In order to treat this investigation professionally and to involve the units in central level, this case was transferred in the competency of the Directorate for Investigation of Serious Crimes in the Investigation Department.Police investigators together with the Special Prosecution are undertaking all the necessary operational-investigation measures and currently they are working in some investigation track, in order to solve this case and to arrest the perpetrators of this criminal offence.
