Prishtinë, 24th April 2014-As an ongoing continuous Appeal from Kosovo Police aiming to increase the level of safety in traffic and prevention of accidents as well as considering changes in weather conditions in our country, Kosovo Police with its units undertook some timely measures in enforcing the services of Road Traffic Police in all road axes.Kosovo Police through its concrete plans has appointed road traffic units of police, which will conduct continuous checks, in urban and regional roads in order to increase the level of safety and prevention of traffic accidents. Kosovo Police calls every traffic participant, including pedestrians, especially vehicle drivers, to respect road traffic signs and adapt to the atmospheric conditions during drive.In order to prevent accidents in road traffic, Kosovo Police appeals to all traffic participants to respect the legal provisions of the traffic field, because these norms are for protecting their life and other participants in traffic.Otherwise Kosovo Police informs all citizens, the opinion in general, that it will take punitive measures against all law offenders, including pedestrians, with the sole intention of increasing level of safety in traffic, prevention of accidents, especially those with fatalities, because the number of such accidents are very concerning for the Kosovo Police as well.
