Angazhimet policore në zbatimin e rendit dhe sigurisë publike, ofrimi sigurisë ndaj qytetarëve, liria e lëvizjes së lirë si dhe ndërmarrja e masave policore konform situatës dhe zhvillimeve në veri të vendit, do të vazhdojnë të mbesin ndër objektivat dhe detyrat primare të Policisë së Kosovës.

Sot, në veri të vendit është paralajmëruar të mbahen protesta/tubime, andaj lidhur me këtë Policia e Kosovës duke njohur të drejtën për tubime publike përmes protestës paqësore, sipas detyrës zyrtare po kujdeset për ruajtjen e rendit dhe qetësisë publike si dhe detyrave të përcaktuara sipas Kushtetutës së Republikës së Kosovës dhe legjislacionit në fuqi.

Protestuesit në forma të organizuara janë tubuar para objekteve të komunave të veriut si në Leposaviq, Zubin Potok dhe Zveqan për të protestuar, ku para objektit të komunës së Zveqanit protestuesit duke shfaqur dhunë dhe duke hedhur gaz lotsjellës kanë tentuar të kalojnë kordonët e sigurisë për tu futur me dhunë në objektin e komunës, ku Policia është detyruar të përdor mjetet e ligjshme si sprej-in, për të ndaluar protestuesit dhe për të vënë situatën nën kontrollë.

Protestat pran komunave veriore janë duke vazhduar, Policia e Kosovës është duke menaxhuar situatën, njëkohësisht fton qytetarët që të kenë vëmendje dhe kujdes të shtuar përgjatë thirrjeve të protestave, të protestojnë në mënyrë të qetë dhe të mos bien pre e provokimeve të mundshme, të çfarëdo natyre qofshin ato.

Policijska angažovana vezana za održavanje reda i javne bezbednosti na severu zemlje

Angažovanje policije u sprovođenju javnog reda i bezbednosti, pružanju bezbednosti građanima, sloboda kretanja, kao i preduzimanje policijskih mera u skladu sa situacijom i dešavanjima na severu zemlje, i dalje će ostati među primarnim ciljevima i zadacima Policije Kosova.

Danas je na severu zemlje najavljano da će biti održani protesti/skupovi, pa se s tim u vezi Policija Kosova, priznajući pravo na javna okupljanja putem mirnih protesta, po službenoj dužnosti stara o očuvanju javnog reda i mira, kao i dužnosti definisane Ustavom Republike Kosova i važećim zakonima.

Demonstranti su se organizovano okupili ispred objekata severnih opština kao što su Leposavić, Zubin Potok i Zvečan da protestuju, gde su ispred objekta opštine Zvečan demonstranti pokazujući nasilje i bacajući suzavac, pokušali da pređu bezbednosne kordone kako bi nasilno ušli u objekat opštine, gde je policija bila prinuđena da upotrebi legalna sredstva poput spreja da zaustavi demonstrante i stavi situaciju pod kontrolu.

Protesti kod severnih opština se nastavljaju, Policija Kosova menadžira situacijom, istovremeno poziva građane da obrate posebnu pažnju i oprez tokom protestnih poziva, da mirno protestuju i da ne nasedaju na eventualne provokacije kakve god da su prirode.

Police engagements related to maintaining public order and safety in the north of the country

Police engagements in implementing public order and safety, providing security to citizens, freedom of movement, as well as undertaking police measures in accordance with the situation and developments in the north of the country, will continue to remain among the primary objectives and tasks of Kosovo Police.

Today, in the north of the country, it has been announced that there will be protests/gatherings, therefore, in this regard, Kosovo Police, recognizing the right of public gatherings through peaceful protest, according to official duty, is taking care of maintaining public order and peace, as well as duties defined according to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the legislation into force.

Protesters gathered in organized forms in front of the facilities of the northern municipalities such as in Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zveqan to protest, where in front of the facility of the municipality of Zveqan, the protesters, showing violence and throwing tear gas, tried to cross the security cordons to enter into the municipality facility by force, where the Police were forced to use legal means, such as spray, to stop the protesters and bring the situation under control.

The protests are continuing near the northern municipality buildings and Kosovo Police is managing the situation, at the same time the citizens are called to pay extra attention and caution during the protest calls, to protest peacefully and not to fall prey to possible provocations, of any kind whatever nature they are.
