Prishtina, 30th January 2014 -The Directorate of Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, unit in Peja, on 28.01.2014 arrested a suspect under the ground suspicion of committing the criminal act “usury”. Police investigators of this directorate with the order of the Basic Court in Gjakova have been ordered to temporarily seize the vehicle of Mercedes type. The vehicle needed to be seized because the suspect took it from the complainer as a guarantee for returning the borrowed amount of 10.000 (teen thousand) euro with the interest of 10% per month.From police investigators of the investigation unit of economic crime and corruption, the suspect L. A. born on 1968, has been interviewed in the presence of his lawyer.Regarding this case, the suspect has been imposed the detention measure of 48 hours while the police investigators are conducting further investigations.
