Prishtinë, 13 January 2014 –Today at 08:40 o’clock, police have received information regarding the presence of an explosive mean in the street ‘Tirana’ in Prishtina.After receiving this information, police have immediately gone to the scene and have undertaken all the necessary measures to secure the danger zone and to prevent any possible explosion. At the same time, the special unit for removal of the explosive means was also invited to the scene and they have immediately began to examine the scene in order to find and determine for what kind of explosion mean it comes. The detailed examination of the scene has resulted in finding of an explosive mean, grenade launcher, which at 11:15, was removed from the scene in a careful manner by the KSF. For security reasons during the period of examination of the scene and control of the explosive mean, police have blocked the segment of the road where the explosive mean was found, to open it for normal circulation at 11:30. Meanwhile, supported on the first examination results of the scene, police have begun to undertake all the necessary investigative actions in order to clarify all the circumstances dealing with this case.
