Police officers from the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, namely from the FAST Unit, in the course of carrying out the tasks of police activities for the arrest of suspects with an international arrest warrant, have arrested an internationally wanted person.

Today, on 21.11.2024 at around 11:30, as a result of preliminary engagements and investigations, it was possible to locate and arrest a suspect, Turkish citizen with the initials S.Y., born in 1986.

The above mentioned was wanted by an international arrest warrant, issued by Turkey, for serving a sentence of seven years effective imprisonment as a result of committing the criminal offense, “Misuse of bank cards”.

By the order of the on duty prosecutor, the arrested person is sent to police detention for 48 hours to continue with other procedures foreseen for such cases.
