Kosovo Police, respectively the Task Force – East unit, in cooperation with the Kosovo Customs, while implementing the measures to prevent and combat illegality and smuggling, as a result of the intensification of tactical and operational searches on the field, on 12.06.2024 on the road Stanqiq-Gjilan has stopped a van transport vehicle with local license plates and driver B. F. (year of birth 1976).

During the inspection of the vehicle, it was noticed that there were several packages loaded with various goods worth over €10,000, such as binoculars, water pumps, devices, batteries and various goods and things.

All actions were taken in cooperation with the State Prosecutor’s Office, where the smuggled goods and the vehicle are seized and sent to the customs terminal.

The Kosovo Police remains committed to combating all negative phenomena and bringing to justice all persons involved in criminal cases.
