Prishtina, 14th of January 2024

Kosovo Police, respectively the anti-drug police investigators from the Unit of Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking in Narcotics, Pristina region, after a several-month of investigation in the case codenamed “GOLFI” on the criminal offense of sale and purchase of narcotic substances, on 13.01.2024 at about 19:00, in cooperation with other regional units, carried out a police operation in the city of Pristina.

Initially, a white BMW car with local license plates, driven by the main suspect with the initials (Y.A.) 1997, was stopped at “Ernest Koliqi” street in Pristina, where during the search a cash was found on him ( 1100 euros) and three (3) phones (IPHONE).

At the same time, police units landed on “Jeronim Derada” street at the house of the aforementioned suspect with initials (Y.A.) and at the moment of reaching at the house, there were two other people (U.G.) 1999 and (F. Sh) 1999 near the door of the courtyard, while upon entering the yard another suspect with the initials (F.H.) 1998 started to run away from the scene and threw a bag filled with a suspected narcotic substance into the yard of the neighbor’s house, which later after measurement, it resulted in a weight of (266. grams. The anti-drug investigators, after a few meters of pursuit, managed to stop and arrest the aforementioned suspect with the initials (F.H.) 1998, where during his search, a Spray with the inscription “NATO”, a telephone (IPHON) and 120 euros in cash were found.

During the raid operation and control of the house of the suspect (Y.A.), the following evidence/evidences were found and seized:

• Ten packages filled with suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing (590.6) grams.

• A bag filled with a suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing (12.29) grams.

• A bag filled with a suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing (1.75) grams.

• A small bag filled with a suspected cocaine-type narcotic substance weighing (0.39) grams.

• Fourteen packages filled with suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing (25.2) grams.

• A firearm with one magazine and three cartridges.

• A bag filled with a suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing (80.1) grams.

• Two digital scales which are used for measuring small quantities.

• Cash (56.90) euros.

• Fifteen pieces of cartridges.

• Two revolver holsters.

• A gun case with filler and a magazine.

• Nine mobile phones.

Also, during the search of an uninhabited house and in its yard, which was located in front of the house of the suspect (Y.A.), which is suspected to have been used by the suspects, the following were found and seized:

• A bag filled with a suspected narcotic substance of the marijuana type weighing (1kg and 37.8gr).

• A bag filled with a suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing (157.4 gr.)

• A bag filled with a suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing 248.2 grams.

• A hand grenade.

The regional forensics of Pristina came to the scene, they photographed and confiscated all the proofs found as material evidence.

Within this operation, a house was also checked in str. “Bedri Berisha” in Pristina, but nothing suspicious was found.

The suspects were interviewed and by the decision of the prosecutor, two of them were taken to detention for 48 hours. The case is being investigated by competent anti-drug units.
