Kosovo Police in cooperation with the citizens is continuously working with dedication and professionalism in maintaining order and providing general safety in the entire territory of the country.

Active engagements of the border authorities are also being carried out for the most efficient management and control of the state border.

In this regard, during the performance of official duties and authorizations in maintaining order and prevent criminal offenses in the region of Mitrovica north, the Bosnian neighborhood, in front of the technical high school, the Kosovo Police today in the early hours received important information by citizens regarding the concealment of certain items (dangerous items) suspected for endangering the lives of citizens or posing a potential risk for using them even against the police personnel and for the obstruction of their performance of legal duties.

Competent police units, based on relevant information received by citizens, have undertaken immediate investigative and operational actions in the case of the Bosniak neighborhood in Mitrovica North, they have carried out a control operation and found: improvised barbed wire (hedgehogs), smoke bombs , ammunition and a uniform.

It is worth emphasizing that the uniform found today is similar to the uniforms that were used by the terrorist group in Banjska in September of this year.

Operational police actions are still continuing in the field in order to identify other suspected vehicles in order to prevent them from endangering citizens or to prevent any attack on the Kosovo Police who are working to maintain order and guarantee security.
