On 23.11.2023 at about 03:15, Kosovo Police, specifically the Patrol Unit of the Mitrovica-North Police Station, during its engagements in guaranteeing security and preventing criminal offences, stopped for inspection the VW Golf type vehicle, driven by the suspect with the initials m/s (N. M.) with the passengers the suspects with the initials (M. T. and D. J.)

After stopping the vehicle under the suspicion of possession of narcotic substances, the vehicle was searched and an amount of cocaine and marijuana was found.

Other relevant units have been informed, including Anti-Drugs, Forensics, and the following testimonies have been identified and seized as material evidence:

The seized evidence was recorded as follows:

• suspected amount of cocaine weighing about 10 grams,

• suspected amount of marijuana weighing 98 grams,

• money (cash) 83540 Serbian dinars and 205 euros and

• four (4) mobile phones.

During the verification of the persons stopped by the Kosovo Police, it was found that the suspect with the initials (M.T.) m/s, has an active arrest warrant related to the criminal offense for narcotics/drug laboratory.

Regarding the case, the prosecutor on duty was informed and with a decision on detention the three (3) suspects were imposed the police custody of 48 hours.
