On 09.10.2023 at about 14:50 o’clock, Police received an information that in the street “Dritan Hoxha” in Prishtina, some people are suspected of selling narcotic substances.

The Central Sector within the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics immediately went to the scene and encountered three (3) suspects who were in the vehicle “Tiguan”, grey colour with local registration plates. The passenger on the rear seats came out the vehicle with a nylon bag in his hands suspected to have narcotics, who then was stopped by the police and the other suspect with the initials (SH.A) has been found 155 grams of narcotics suspected to be marijuana.

The passenger with the initials (B.SH) who was inside the vehicle Tiguan, have been found (70) grams of marijuana.

During the police action, three suspects have been arrested in the scene.

The police officers of Anti-drug Unit informed the competent prosecutor about the case, who ordered to raid the properties-apartments of the suspects. One raid was conducted in the street “Sadik Zeneli in Prishtina to the suspect (B.SH) where as material evidences have been found and seized (435) grams of narcotics suspected to be marijuana, one digital weight scale and foil for packaging the narcotics, while in two other locations nothing suspicious was found.

As material evidences have been found and seized the following evidences:

• One bag with narcotics suspected to be marijuana with the weight of 435 grams.

• One bag with narcotics suspected to be marijuana with the weight of 80 gram

• One bag with narcotics suspected to be marijuana with the weight of 75 gram

• One bag with narcotics suspected to be marijuana with the weight of 70 gram

• Three (3) mobile phones

• One(1) scale

• Foil for packaging narcotics

In total, (660) grams of narcotics of marijuana have been found and seized.

By the decision of the Prosecutor, the three (3) suspects after the interview have been taken to detention for 48 hours.
