Kosovo Police (KP), according to its official duties and determined strategic objectives, is continuing its commitments in providing security, maintaining order and public safety, as well as undertaking police measures in order to prevent all criminal activities occurring in the country.

It is the duty of the Kosovo Police to provide security, to protect the basic rights of all persons, to protect public and private property, and to enable the free movement and exercise of the rights of all persons regardless.

Within the scope of legal duties and powers, Kosovo Police has made its own plans for providing security, maintaining public peace and order, as well as enabling the exercise of the right of the officers of the northern municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.

The purpose of planning and coordination with the relevant institutions has been and continues to be the creation of a safe and calm environment for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, enabling the exercise of the right of municipal officers as well as undertaking of legal measures against illegal actions, which would endanger security, peace and stability in the country to any extent.

The situation was peaceful and without incidents, Kosovo Police thanks all citizens without distinction and at the same time continues to encourage them to cooperate with the Kosovo Police, for any case related to security and public order.
