Më datë 9 mars 2023, rreth orës 19:20, përderisa njësia policore e Policisë së Kosovës ndodhej në pikë kontrolli në fshatin Banje në një rrugë ilegale, duke realizuar detyrat dhe autorizimet e saj ligjore në garantimin e sigurisë, aty ka ardhur/qarkulluar një automjet xhip i tipit audi.

Zyrtarët policor në pikë kontrolli sipas procedurave kanë sinjalizuar automjetin me bateri që të ndaloj për kontroll rutinor, por personi i dyshuar (drejtuesi i automjetit) posa ka vërejtur zyrtarët policor të cilët e kanë sinjalizuar për ndalim, ka rritur shpejtësinë për të ikur nga ndalimi duke rrezikuar drejtpërdrejt jetën e zyrtarëve policor, përderisa njëri nga zyrtarët policor me qëllim të shmangies së rrezikut të drejtpërdrejt për jetën e tij dhe zyrtarëve tjerë policor është detyruar që të përdor armën e zjarrit.

Automjeti i dyshuar me shpejtësi është larguar nga vendi i ngjarjes përmes rrugëve ilegale, përderisa njësitet policore janë duke ndërmarr veprime operative dhe hetimore për identifikimin dhe arrestimin e personit/ve të dyshuar të përfshirë në këtë rast.

Si vazhdimësi e hetimit gjatë realizimit të detyrave policore, njësitë relevante policore kanë ndaluar dy automjete tjera të cilat kanë ardhë në atë lokacion, e që dyshohet se mund të ndërlidhen me veturën e dyshuar, në te cilat vetura gjendeshin pesë persona, të cilët janë dërguar në stacion policor për intervistim dhe procedura të mëtejme në bashkëpunim dhe koordinim me organet e drejtësisë.

Policia e Kosovës mbetet e përkushtuar në realizimin e detyrave dhe autorizimeve ligjore në parandalimin e veprave kriminale, ndërmarrjen e masave rigoroze ndaj secilit individ apo grup kriminal që cenon rendin, sigurinë apo rrezikon jetën e zyrtarëve policor që po punojnë natë e ditë për të garantuar sigurinë e qytetarëve tanë në tërë territorin e Republikës së Kosovës.

Dana 9. marta 2023 godine, oko 19:20 časova, dok je policijska jedinica Policije Kosova bila na kontrolnoj tački u selu Banje na ilegalnom putu, vršeći svoje dužnosti i zakonska ovlašćenja u garantovanju bezbednosti, došlo je/kretalo se jedno vozilo tipa audi džip.

Policijski službenici na kontrolnoj tački su po procedurama dali znak da vozilo sa akumulatorom stane radi rutinskog pregleda, ali čim je osumnjičeni (vozač) primetio policajce koji su mu dali znak da stane, povećao je brzinu kako bi pobegao zaustavljanju direktno ugrožavajući živote policijskih službenika, dok je jedan od policijskih službenika da bi izbegao direktnu opasnost po život kao i drugih policijskih službenika bio prinuđen da upotrebi vatreno oružje.

Osumnjičeno vozilo se brzo udaljilo sa lica mesta ilegalnim putevima, dok policijske jedinice preduzimaju operativne i istražne radnje na identifikaciji i hapšenju osumnjičenog/ih u ovom slučaju.

U nastavku uviđaja tokom obavljanja policijskih poslova, nadležne policijske jedinice su zaustavile još dva vozila koja su stigla na tu lokaciju, a za koja se sumnja da su povezana sa osumnjičenim vozilom, u kojima se nalazilo pet osoba, koje su upućene u policijsku stanicu na razgovor i dalje postupke u saradnji i koordinaciji sa organima pravde.

Policija Kosova ostaje posvećena sprovođenju zakonskih zadataka i ovlašćenja u sprečavanju krivičnih dela, preduzimajući rigorozne mere protiv svakog pojedinca ili kriminalne grupe koja narušava red, bezbednost ili ugrožava živote policijskih službenika koji danonoćno rade na pružanju bezbednosti naših građana na celoj teritoriji Republike Kosova.

On March 9, 2023 at about 19:20 o’clock, while the police units of Kosovo Police were in the checkpoint in Banje village, performing its legal duties and authorizations in guaranteeing security, in an illegal road have encountered a SUV of Audi type.

The police officers at the checkpoint according to the procedures have signalized the vehicle with a flashlight to stop for a routine control, but the suspect (driver) when noticed the police officers signalizing, increased the speed and fled from the scene, by directly endangering the lives of police officers. One of the police officers while trying to avoid the risk for his life and other police officers was forced to use his weapon.

The vehicle fled from the scene in a high speed using illegal roads, while the police units are undertaking operational and investigative actions in identifying and arresting the suspect/s involved in this case.

As a continuation of investigations, during the performance of police duties, the relevant police units have stopped two other vehicles which arrived at that location, and which are suspected to be related to the suspected vehicle, where there were five people, who were sent to the police station for interview and further procedures in cooperation and coordination with the justice bodies.

Kosovo Police remains committed in carrying out legal duties and authorizations in preventing criminal offences, undertaking more rigorous measures against the individuals or criminal groups who threatens the order, security or the life of police officers who work every day and night to guarantee the safety of citizens, in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
