In the series of meetings in Paris, France, the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Samedin Mehmeti, had the following meeting with the with Mr. Fernand Gontier, director of the Border Police in France.

Main subjects of discussion at this meeting were the strengthening of border cooperation, illegal migration, training and advanced border control techniques as well as the fight against smuggling.

Also part of the discussion in this meeting was the assessment and assistance in meeting the criteria for visa liberalization. The meeting resulted in the will and expression of readiness for cooperation in various fields, in particular the cooperation with Border Police.
