On 14th and 15th of June 2022, the President of the Council of Europe, Mr. Charles Michel together with an accompanying delegation will have an official visit to the Republic of Kosovo. Kosovo Police, during this visit will take care of providing security and maintaining public order and peace, during the time of the escort movement and the stay of the state delegation in Kosovo

At the time of arrival (afternoon) on June 14th, to enable free movement of the official escort and security according to the movement itinerary, from the International Airport “Adem Jashari” in the direction of the capital on the streets where the escort moves, Kosovo Police will temporarily make interruptions in short intervals of traffic circulation in some road segments where the escort are expected to cross.

Also on the day of return (afternoon) on June 15th, according to the official agenda, the same police actions will be taken to move the escort from the capital towards the International Airport “Adem Jashari”, on the roads which are used for escorting traffic.

In order to enable the circulation and reorientation of the traffic into alternative roads where the escort is expected to cross, the relevant police units will be engaged, therefore Kosovo Police asks the citizens and traffic participants for understanding.
