The first operation has been conducted, today on 13.12.2021, at about 15:00, after receiving important information in operational ways that in the field a transport of a suspected amount of narcotics is being made, the anti-drugs units in the region of Prishtina, conducted a tactical plan fast and professionally, where in the afternoon at the highway Prishtina-Gjilan, close to the village Hajvali, assisted by the fast reaction units of Police in Prishtina (NJRSH), a vehicle of the type Golf 7 with national plates was stopped.

During the operation of the control, at the baggage of the vehicle there were found (3) bags with a total of nine (9) packages of suspected narcotics.

After verifications and measurements from police, it resulted that it was marihuana weighting twenty-six thousand and three-hundred gram (26300 gr. or 26.3 kilogram).

Drugs has been seized and along with material evidences the vehicle and two mobile phones were seized.

In coordination with the competent prosecutor, a case was initiated and the suspect has been taken to 48 hours custody for further legal proceedings.

The second operation, was conducted today in coordination with the police station in Klina, region of Peja, where during the control of two persons, in a vehicle suspected narcotics were found and seized.

During a detailed control, drugs of the type marihuana in the amount of 500 gram resulted to be hidden under the ventilation plastic over the vehicle engine.

In this case as evidence there were seized a knife, two packages of rolling paper and cash were seized, while two suspects were arrested and after the interrogation, in the presence of the attorney they were taken to custody for further proceedings.

The third operation, of Kosovo Police anti-drugs, coded “ Trekëndëshi” today cuffed three (3) suspects (two Kosovars and an Albanian) and it was conducted with the support of the police unit for fast reaction (NJRSH) in Gjilan and other units.

This successful police operation resulted with the seizure of about nineteen (19) kg. suspected narcotics, found at the vehicle of one of the suspects.

As evidence, there were seized, drugs about (19 kg), two vehicles and cash 958 euro and 2700 (Albanian) lek.

Investigations regarding the case are going on in coordination with the Prosecutor and the basic court in Gjilan, while three suspects were detained.

Kosovo police is undertaking concrete actions in prevention and combating criminal offences in general, especially active legal measures are being undertaken against all persons involved in trafficking, selling and abusing in narcotics.
