Prishtinë, 25th of July 2019

Today, on 25th of July 2019, in the General Directorate of Kosovo Police, the general Director of KP, Mr. Rashit QALAJ, hosted the KFOR commander Mr. Lorenzo D’ADDARIO and the commander of Carabinier Regiment MSU (Multinational Specialized Unit) Colonel Ruggiero CAPODIVENTO.

The General Director of KP, Mr. Rashit QALAJ thanked the KFOR commander Mr. Lorenzo D’ADDARIO and the MSU commander for the ongoing support given to Kosovo Police, whether in training or work equipment for various KP units.

The KFOR commander said that one of the KFOR mission tasks is the support of security Institutions, especially for KP which is the main security Institution in Kosovo. The effective policing is a basement for security and KP is the best example in this aspect. 

Kosovo Police in this meeting has received by MSU – Carabinieri a donation of equipment, which will serve for the Kosovo Police Forensics Unit. These equipment will further increase the professional level of KP officers and will also assist in performing tasks with contemporary methods.
