General
Director of Kosovo Police Mr. Rashit Qalaj, today on 03.07.2019, at 13:30, held
an official meeting with the managerial staff of Kosovo Police at GPD in Prishtinë,
the meeting was held with regional directors of Police of Mitrovica, Mitrovica
South, Regional deputy directors, Chiefs of the Operations, Chiefs of Regional
Investigations, Chiefs of the Fast Intervention Units, respective Police
Station Commanders, as well as the commanders of the border crossing points 1 and
31.

The purpose
of this meeting was the coordination of police actions related to the latest
developments in the north of the country, cooperation and coordination of
activities of the Regional police directorates, Kosovo Police, and other Units,
in order to provide security for all citizens of the country regardless
guaranteeing total functionality of the law enforcement.

Also, in
this meeting it was emphasized the importance of realization of the police
duties professionally in the function of maintaining law and order, guaranteeing
free movement without endangering the security of any citizen or police
officers while performing legal police duties.

The meeting
resulted with the commitment for further engagement and commitment from all the
present, in order to fulfill police duties and tasks in the benefit of the
citizens of the country.
