Today, on 4th of February 2018, organized by the OSBE and financially supported by the Italian Embassy the training project ‘Increasing the operational capacities of the KP in fight against domestic violence was held.

In the opening ceremony of this training held at the KP facilities in Prishtina, Director of KP Mr. Rashit QALAJ, the Italian ambassador of the RKS Mr. Sardi and the director of Public Safety Department at OSCE, Mr. Rogue were present.

    As a first phase of the project a five day training was planned (from 4th to 8th of February 2019) for the training of the trainers as a first responders in the cases of the domestic violence. Initially twelve police officers will be trained then they will conduct training to other police officers.

    The intention of the training is that the trained officers’ gain the most advanced knowledge, practices and methods how to handle the domestic violence cases.
