Prishtina, 26th of November 2018

On 24.11.2018 the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DHTN), through operational ways received an information that in one street “Gazmend Zajmi” in Gjilan, will take place a trade of narcotics.

After the verification of information and identification of the exact location, in consults with the State Prosecution from the Basic Prosecution in Gjilan, at about 20:15 h a house was searched (raid), and in its basement are found 5 kg and 155 grams of narcotic substance type heroin that was packed in 5 packages, in a sports bag.

Related to the case, one suspect is arrested:
 
•    SH .Z, Kosovo citizen

After the initial investigation it was found that in this case is involved one more person Serbian Citizen currently at large.

Narcotic Substances are seized, while the suspect is detained for 48 hours based on the order of the State Prosecutor from the Basic Prosecution of serious crimes in Gjilan.
Kosovo Police remains committed in the fight against negative phenomenon.
