The General Director of Kosovo Police, Mr. Rashit Qalaj, held an official meeting with the managerial staff of the central and local level

The General Director of Kosovo Police (KP), Mr. Rashit
Qalaj, held an official meeting with the management of Kosovo Police, where
there participated directors of departments, directors of divisions, regional
directors, commanders of police stations as well as representatives from ICITAP.

 

This official meeting was of a special importance,
with a special focus in the realization of strategic objectives of Kosovo
Police, efficient police management; especially it was stated and required the
continuous increase of discipline, performance and police integrity.

 

There were also discussed the key issues regarding the
general safety in the country, security of citizens, the cooperation and
meetings with the community, fighting corruption, traffic safety, prevention of
criminal offences, as well as thefts, robberies, drugs, trafficking in human
beings etc.

 

It was required that the managerial staff be engaged
more in all police levels, especially when there are developments and important
processes about the country, in order to create a safer environment for all
citizens, which contributes in the general safety in the country.

 

Director Qalaj emphasized that through the performance
assessment of police officers, through efficient management of human resources
and logistics, there may be achieved more positive results in many police areas.

                            

This meeting, which was of a broader composition,
resulted with the commitment for additional engagements by all participants,
with the aim to fulfill police duties and obligations, which are in the
interest of the citizens of the country.
