Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate of Investigation of Organized Crime, in cooperation with the state prosecution office, after intensive investigations regarding the criminal activity of the suspected persons who continuously committed the criminal offences of ‘smuggling in migrants’ , ‘documents forgery’ ‘tax evasion’ conducted a police operation, which resulted in the arrest of five suspects.  

Based on the order of the competent court, dated 11 April 2018 in Prishtina region (in five locations), and Gjakova (in one location), houses and additional facilities have been searched, which were under the property of suspects, with the aim to collect evidences about the criminal activities of the suspects. 

In this case the following persons have been arrested:

• Sh. Sh. Born in 1961  Albanian/Kosovar

• I. S. Born in 1974 Albanian/Kosovar

• N. B. Born in 1966 Albanian/Kosovar

• Xh. N. Born in 1962 Albanian/Kosovar

• A. T. Born in 1987 Albanian/Kosovar

While as material evidences there were seized the following:

• 2 long rifles 

• 5 short guns of various caliber 

• 175 cartridges of various calibers 

• 4 stamps of various companies 

• 2 passports 

• Other documents valuable for further legal proceeding. 

Suspected persons, pursuant to the order of the prosecutor are taken to police custody for further legal proceedings.
