As a continuation of some police operations at the end of last week in Prizren, similar operations we also conducted in the Peja region, under grounded suspicions of involvement of several suspects in the criminal offence “Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sell of narcotics, psychotropic and analogue substances” – article 273. 

The Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics – Peja, assisted by the: Special Operational Units, K-9 Unit and Crime Techniques, after a previous investigation and by the order from the justice bodies, on 09.02.2018 has conducted a control in some location of Peja region where it was suspected for narcotics.

During this police operation, there were arrested (4) suspects, four locations cafeterias/bars were raided, as well as there are controlled over 400 (four hundred) persons who were inside those locations. 

In some locations was found and seized a small amount (divided into two covered bags) of narcotics, as well as there was seized a cold weapon – knife.

             By the order of the competent Prosecutor, one person was taken to detention, while three other were released in regular procedure.
