after publishing a video-recording in media, where a bus is seen violating traffic rules posing danger in traffic, Kosovo Police (KP) immediately undertook police actions.

In this video-recording, a bus belonging to a private company is seen committing traffic offence by taking over from right side in the road from Fushë Kosova towards Prishtina, precisely near the roundabout at military barracks “Adem Jashari” at the entrance of Prishtinës, using the cyclists path and the pedestrian’s pavement,  it was managed to be identified and stopped.

On 15.12.2017, police actions have been taken by the traffic unit where at about 12:50 unit at the point of control at the military barracks Adem Jashari precisely at the location where the violation was committed, have stopped the bus “Man” local registration plates seen on the video and published committing traffic offence. 

The stopped bus was being driven by the driver H. B. year 1979, suspected of committing the offence, because the driver in his statement admitted that on 23.11.2017 committed the offence in question.

Related to this case, Police contacted the on duty Judge of the Basic Court in Prishtina, and is instructed that the case be proceeded in regular procedure at the Basic Court – minor offence division, because the driver is citizen of Kosovo with documents. 

In this occasion Kosovo Police thanks all citizens and media for the cooperation. This cooperation is positively impacting in the increase of public peace and order as well as the road traffic.
