First case, The Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Human Beings – Central Investigation Section upon receiving the information by the Police Station of Lipjan for a missing person of female gender of the age of 16, which was suspected to be a trafficking victim, immediately have initiated the investigations and on 14.06.2017 the victim was found and interviewed. 

From the investigations it was suspected that the victim during a certain period was kept under control by one suspect male/Kosovar/Albanian. He fraudulently used her economic situation and family circumstances pushing the victim on sexual exploitation. The suspect by the decision of the Prosecutor was taken to custody for 24 hours.

On 19.06.2017, there was also arrested the second person under suspicion of committing the criminal offence: Sexual services of Trafficking victim. The suspect H. H. male-Albanian-Kosovar by the decision of the Prosecutor was taken to the custody for 48 hours. 

In the second case, after an investigative operational work in the field, on 19.06.2017 in Peja, there was executed the order issued by the competent Court for controlling the premise where the suspects were conducting criminal acts. There were arrested three suspects for the criminal offences: Enabling or forcing to prostitution and Provision of premises for prostitution.

The two arrested suspects in a night club are:

– I.H. male-Kosovar-Albanian, born on 1963 and 

-SH.M. Male-Kosovar-Albanian, born on 1987, 

By the decision of the Prosecutor, the suspects were taken to custody for 48 hours, while the suspect E.G. female-Kosovar-Albanian born on 1993 was taken to the Basic Court – Division for Minor offences – Peja in the fast procedure.

By the decision of the Municipal Inspectorate, the premise suspected to having been exercised the illegal activity was closed.
