Directorate if Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DHTN), on 21.04.2017,  in two operations seizes over 50 kg marihuana: 

 In the highway Prishtinë–Podujevë, while conducting a police operation, DHTN arrested four suspects, as they have been found in action buying-and selling narcotics. In this operation there have been seized 31 kg narcotics of the type marihuana, two vehicles (one with Albanian plates while the other with Switzerland plates) and 6 mobile phones. 

The four suspects arrested in this case are:

– A.J. born on 1974, male, Albanian Citizen,

– E.T. born on 1969, male, Albanian Citizen,

– Z.E. born on 1987, male, Citizen of Kosovo and

– A.E. born on 1996, male, Citizen of Kosovo,

Regarding these actions there has been informed the State Prosecutor in Prishtina and with the decision of the Prosecutor the abovementioned suspects have been taken to the Detention Center for 48 hours.

 On, 21.04.2017 at about 15:25, Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DHTN)-Unit in Prizren,  from the trusted sources, received the information that in a transporting vehicle (truck), with national plates, property of the transporting company Vita, within the transporting goods (furniture) to Switzerland, there were hidden a considerable amount of narcotics of the type marihuana. 

In the Customs Terminal in Prizre, DHTN along with the K9 police units and Kosovo Customs, controlled the track. During the control, hidden in the furniture, there have been found 34 plastic packaging where there was suspected narcotics of the type marihuana weighting: 19 kg e 305 gram.

With the judgment of the Basic Prosecutors Office in Prizren, the suspects A. B, regarding 1995 m/k/sh, has been given the detention measure of 48 hours.
