Kosovo Police, with the aim to clarify and correctly inform the public regarding the publication of an article in the portal lajmi net titled “Here is how ROSU members live and act in terrible conditions in Mitrovicë”, we clarify as following; 

The situation and the condition reflected through photos published where conditions in the special units “Belvedere” is presented, are referred to a certain moment where there was a huge number of police officers returned after a police operation.

Kosovo Police (KP) takes a special care to the maintenance and creation of conditions for work and police activities, according to plans and budgetary possibilities.

A special care is taken to creation of conditions and environment for special operational units of KP and the reflected condition in the photo published in the portal is not the usual working days condition, but the one of a situation with additional engagements and of urgent operations of KP, where there is not time to take care about the environment.

Such actions in urgent situations are understandable, because the implementation of police operational objectives are primary, but in such cases in first acting possibilities, the necessary measures are taken for improvement and turning back to the normal conditions and the environment in general.

Following we present several photos of the real and actual condition from the environment of the special operational units “Belvedere” in Mitrovicë.
